Role overview:

We have a part-time opportunity for a Middle Ruby on Rails Developer to join our Co-Brands Team. This team is dedicated to developing and enhancing slot games, ensuring a seamless user experience through high-quality updates to game logic and math algorithms.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with front-end developers, QA team, and other team members and stakeholders to design cohesive, functional code and ensure a seamless user experience while delivering high-quality games.
• Proactively explore and deepen your understanding of the business domain and the specifics of the iGaming industry, staying up to date with best practices to enhance your expertise and support the team's growth.
• Enhance existing slot games by “re-skinning”, and refining game logic or math algorithms.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure smooth and reliable performance.

Requirements:‍

• Proficiency in a back-end programming language (Ruby on Rails);
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles;
• In-depth knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in Ruby;
• Proficient with code versioning tools (Git, GitLab);
• Experience writing efficient, clean code with thorough test coverage;
• Strong problem-solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication;
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team;
• Focus on efficiency, user experience, and continuous process improvement.
