Junior Frontend Developer

Role Overview:

As a Frontend Developer in the "Reskins" Game Development Team, you will ensure outsourced games meet company standards by reviewing and refining gameplay mechanics, user interfaces, and performance. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize features, reskin games to align with new themes, and troubleshoot frontend issues for consistent quality across platforms, contributing technical expertise and creative input to enhance the final product.

Responsibilities:

• Write high-quality, clean, and well-optimized JavaScript/TypeScript code.
• Actively participate in the game development process to deliver top-tier games to the market.
• Collaborate closely with Developers, Designers, and QA Specialists to achieve project goals.
• Create engaging animations and visual effects that enhance user experiences.
• Share engineering knowledge across the team while adhering to best practices in coding and development.
• Optimize frontend performance to ensure a seamless gaming experience across platforms.

Requirements:

• 1.5+ years of experience in development (including JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Experience with Pixi.js/Phaser or other js game engines.
• Work with Jira, Git.
• Knowledge of OOP and Design Patterns.
• Ability to write clean code which is easy to maintain.
• Have an eye for detail and an intuition for tasteful, elegant, smooth visual effects.
• Background in game development, visually rich applications or the advertisement industry.
• Language proficiency: Russian - Advanced, English - Intermediate and higher.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of any other OO language;
• Knowledge of Canvas or WebGL;
• Knowledge of basics of Game Loop.
