Role overview:
Join the Slots R&D unit as a Game Developer focused on building production-ready games with experimental mechanics. You will develop games using our custom Pixi.js TypeScript engine, leveraging existing internal tools and ready-made solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Implement gameplay logic and experimental mechanics based on design and technical guidance.
- Turn provided assets into a polished in-game experience: layouts, Spine animations, VFX, UI states, transitions.
- Make project-level code changes under guidance without owning engine-level architecture.
- Collaboration with designers, artists, and QA to deliver shippable features.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of JavaScript / TypeScript experience in web game development.
- Pixi.js experience.
- Strong ability to understand and work with existing codebases.
- Language proficiency: Russian — Advanced, English — Pre-Intermediate or higher.
Nice to have:
- Experience with WebGL visuals, particles, or custom effects (not necessarily advanced pipelines).
