Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Developer to join our analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing complex Power BI solutions to support business intelligence and decision-making processes. Your expertise will drive the creation of insightful, scalable, and visually compelling reports and dashboards that enable data-driven decisions across the organization.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring they meet business requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Optimize performance and scalability of Power BI solutions, including data models, DAX calculations, and visualizations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business needs into effective BI solutions.
- Implement and maintain data integration pipelines to ensure accurate and timely data delivery to Power BI.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity within Power BI solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices to continuously improve reporting capabilities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers in the team.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in developing and optimizing Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Proficiency in creating efficient and scalable data models and writing complex DAX calculations.
- Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction and transformation.
- Experience integrating data from various sources into Power BI (e.g., databases, APIs, flat files).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience in handling large datasets and ensuring performance optimization.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, a high level of ownership and commitment, and the ability to work independently in a self-organized manner.
- Language proficiency: English — Upper-Intermediate or higher.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and its integration with Power BI.
- Experience with other BI tools and platforms.
- Certification in Power BI or related Microsoft technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure for data storage and integration.
