Role overview:

BGaming is looking for a Business Development Manager to take ownership of market-driven business development, with a strong focus on understanding where and how the company should grow, and what exactly is required to make that growth real.

This role is not focused on pure sales execution. Its core purpose is to connect market analysis with commercial, legal, operational, and marketing actions and turn fragmented inputs from different functions into one clear market development track.

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and assessing target markets, structuring market entry logic, defining what is required for market expansion, and coordinating the full internal picture around each market. This includes working across Sales, BAM, Legal, Marketing, and other teams to consolidate market-related inputs, dependencies, and priorities into one actionable view.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze target markets from commercial, regulatory, competitive, and operational perspectives.
  • Build and maintain structured market assessments, including market attractiveness, entry barriers, competitive landscape, local specifics, and growth potential.
  • Identify priority markets for entry, expansion, or deeper development based on business impact and feasibility.
  • Participate in the development of market expansion strategies and help translate strategic choices into concrete actions.
  • Collect and consolidate inputs from Sales, BAM, Legal, Marketing, Product, and other teams into one coherent market development view.
  • Coordinate internal preparation for market entry or expansion, including commercial prerequisites, legal and compliance requirements, partner setup, and go-to-market implications.
  • Map key operators, aggregators, partners, and market-specific opportunities within each target market.
  • Track market changes, including regulation, licensing trends, competitor moves, customer demand patterns, and shifts in distribution models.
  • Support the business in defining the right approach to each market: direct operator focus, aggregator-led approach, priority partners, or selective presence.
  • Work with BAM and Sales to connect market strategy with real account and pipeline opportunities.
  • Work with Legal to understand practical market access requirements, restrictions, and risks.
  • Work with Marketing to define market-specific positioning needs, visibility opportunities, and local relevance factors.
  • Prepare structured recommendations for management on where to invest effort, what dependencies exist, and what decisions are needed.
  • Own the overall coordination of market development tracks and ensure that outcomes are not split across departments without a single owner.
  • Monitor progress on strategic markets and highlight blockers, gaps, and required cross-functional actions.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, market expansion, commercial strategy, or market intelligence roles.
  • Strong analytical approach: ability to assess markets not only descriptively, but in terms of business potential, risks, barriers, and execution requirements.
  • Experience working with market research, competitive analysis, partner mapping, or regional/business expansion initiatives.
  • Ability to structure unclear inputs from multiple teams into one practical conclusion and action plan.
  • Strong understanding of how different business functions influence market development: commercial, legal, account management, marketing, product, and operations.
  • Ability to work with data, assumptions, benchmarks, and qualitative market signals and turn them into clear recommendations.
  • Experience participating in strategy discussions and converting strategic goals into concrete market initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills in cross-functional environments.
  • Ability to challenge assumptions and ask the right market questions, not just collect information.
  • Comfortable working in a role where success is measured by the quality of decisions, prioritization, and coordination, not by direct sales volume alone.
  • Language proficiency: English — Advanced (sufficient for market analysis, partner discussions, and internal strategic communication).

Nice to have:

  • Experience in iGaming, B2B digital products, platform businesses, or regulated industries.
  • Understanding of market entry logic in regulated markets.
  • Experience working with aggregators, operators, or international partner ecosystems.
  • Experience preparing management-level market recommendations or expansion cases.

Work conditions:

  • Work where it suits you: from home, the office, or a mix of both.
  • 100% paid vacation and sick days, plus extra days off.
  • Medical insurance and mental health support.
  • BCoins for internal rewards and fun perks.
  • Budget for professional development, certifications, and language courses (English and Polish).
  • Hackathons, team events, and legendary parties.
  • Kids’ camp for BGamers’ families.
  • Referral program with real rewards.
