Responsibilities:

Candidate Research and Identification

• Proactively search for potential candidates using various platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, GitHub, etc).
• Build talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs, especially for niche technical roles.

Engagement with Candidates

• Reach out to potential candidates through emails, social media, or direct messaging to introduce the company and the role.
• Establish relationships with passive candidates, nurturing them until they're ready to apply.
• Act as the first point of contact, screening candidates based on initial criteria.

Collaboration with Recruiters and Hiring Managers

• Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand job requirements, company culture, and team dynamics.
• Provide qualified leads to recruiters, helping to streamline the recruitment process.
• Attend meetings with hiring teams to keep track of sourcing needs and job openings.

Market Research

• Conduct market analysis to understand talent availability, competition, and salary trends.
• Provide insights to the recruitment team on where to find the best talent and what motivates candidates in the industry.

Employer Branding

• Promote the company’s brand through candidate interactions, social media, and other public platforms.

Requirements:

• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of IT roles and skills, so they can effectively evaluate candidates and engage with them on a deeper level.
• Sourcing Tools: Familiarity with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, X-ray search, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and written communication to engage candidates effectively.
• Data-Driven: Ability to use metrics to track sourcing success and improve strategies.
• Networking: Proactive in building a professional network.
