BGaming Charity Gala Funds New Facilities and Medical Equipment for DAR Bjorn

Charity Gala by BGaming is an annual fundraising event in Malta that brings together the iGaming industry and the local community for a shared cause. For the second year in a row, the initiative has focused on DAR Bjorn, Malta’s specialized care home, providing assistance and essential therapies for people living with ALS, MS, and other severe neurological conditions.

The second Charity Gala took place on May 29, 2026, at The Phoenicia Malta, welcoming more than 400 guests and raising over €200,000. The first event in 2025 also raised €200,000, bringing the total from both editions to over €400,000. BGaming covered all event costs, ensuring that every euro went directly to DAR Bjorn and the people it supports.

The money raised will be used for new facilities, essential medical equipment, and better living conditions for residents. Of the total amount collected in 2026, €91,000 in sponsorship contributions has been allocated to specific projects and equipment that will help DAR Bjorn reach more people in need.

1spin4win, Finteq Hub, and TaDa Gaming have each donated €10,000 toward the construction and development of the new DAR Bjorn Respite Centre. In recognition of their generosity, each company will have a resident room named in its honor. Scheduled for completion by the end of 2027, the new center will give DAR Bjorn more space to care for people with serious neurological conditions.

Amusnet Gaming contributed €10,000 toward a medical ventilator, providing vital breathing support for residents who need it.

Another €15,000 from MyAffiliates will go toward two motorized medical beds, two patient lifts, two oxygen concentrators, and two anti-bedsore mattresses. Each piece of equipment has a practical purpose: improving residents’ comfort and making daily care safer and easier for their caregivers.

An additional €36,000 will be used to equip the new DAR Bjorn Respite Centre with medical and rehabilitation devices, furnish residents’ rooms, and prepare living spaces for future residents. These contributions came from Alea (€7,000); EGT Digital, Flutter, Focus Gaming News, and SiGMA (€5,000 each); Behind the Gloves (€2,500); Jon Arnold and Larry Galansky (€2,000 each); Internet Vikings (€1,500); and SOFTSWISS (€1,000).

Behind every contribution is a real benefit for the people at DAR Bjorn. From more comfortable rooms to greater safety in everyday life, these improvements will help create a welcoming environment where residents receive the care they need.
