CONTACT USBGAMING EXPLORES THE DARK SIDE OF EGYPTIAN MYTHOLOGY IN KHONSU MERGE UP™
BGaming combines its signature Merge Up™ mechanics with ways pays for the first time in its new original #Entertainment slot, Khonsu Merge Up™. Inspired by ancient Egyptian mythology and dark comic books, the BGaming demo features cascading wins, Split symbols that create up to six identical symbols, and two progressive Bonus rounds.
The story unfolds under the watchful eye of Khonsu, the ancient Egyptian god of the moon and protector of night travelers. Mummies, vampires, werewolves, and other sinister creatures emerge from the shadows, creating a supernatural atmosphere.
The signature Merge Up™ mechanics transform winning symbols into higher-value ones, while refills create new opportunities through ways pays. Each subsequent refill increases the multiplier in Khonsu’s hands by ×2, applying it to the following wins. Split symbols on reels 2–5 can divide into up to six identical copies, creating even more ways to win.
Bonus gameplay introduces a progress bar that gradually upgrades symbols as winning refills occur. Landing 3 or 4 Scatters triggers 8 or 10 Free Spins, respectively. Every winning refill advances the progress bar, and completing a segment awards 2 additional spins while granting the corresponding symbol Split powers. These transformations work alongside Merge Up™, allowing higher-value symbols to acquire the same abilities as the round progresses.
Landing 5 or 6 Scatters unlocks Super Free Spins, awarding 12 or 14 spins, respectively. This version follows a similar progression system, with completed bar segments granting Wild powers and 2 extra spins. The upgrades continue throughout the Bonus round, creating opportunities for increasingly valuable symbol combinations.
We wanted to give players more choice in how they approach the Bonus rounds, so we included five different Buy options. They can increase their chances of triggering a Bonus with Chance ×5 or Chance ×10, go straight into Free Spins or Super Free Spins, or try Random Free Spins. With these options, everyone can find something that suits their preferences and playing style.
