Under the 5×12 grid are diamonds and dynamite bundles, covered with ice. Players must select a square on each row, hoping to find a gem and dodge the explosives underneath.
Each horizontal row has 1 explosive that could put an end to the player’s mining attempt by exploding against 4 diamonds which have the power to multiply their bet by the value assigned to the row. Multipliers range from x1.23 to x14.28, with a maximum win of €1,428 on offer.
Step by step, players must tread carefully to uncover the rows, until the explosive goes off or they claim their winnings by cashing out. The mini field allows players to strategize by viewing the whole playing area without scrolling up or down.
